A weekend in an Airstream is great. A week or more is when it starts to feel like the trip people imagine when they picture one. Here is what you need to know about longer rentals with GoSilver, from a seven-night road trip to a month-long stay.

Can you rent an Airstream for a week?
Yes, and it costs less per night. Rentals of seven nights or longer take 5 percent off the nightly rate automatically, with nothing to ask for at checkout. Nightly rates across our fleet run $179 to $390 depending on the trailer and the season, and the live rate for your dates is on our rentals page.
Can you rent one for a month?
Yes. Monthly stays start at $5,000 and go up depending on the trailer you choose, before taxes and fees. Renters use them for long trips, on-site offices and sales space, guest quarters at home, and off-grid stays.
Where can you take it?
Anywhere in the continental United States and Canada. Mexico is not permitted by our insurance. Alaska and northern Canada are permitted with a road fee of $0.10 per mile, because of road conditions and the extra wear and tear.
From our lot in Lathrop, a week opens up trips that do not fit in a weekend:
- The Sierra and the national parks. Yosemite, then south to Kings Canyon or east over the mountains to Convict Lake.
- The coast. Work down from Costanoa and Big Sur to Morro Strand and Carpinteria.
- The desert Southwest. Joshua Tree, Death Valley and Zion and Antelope Canyon.
- Further out. Grand Teton and Jackson, Wyoming.

What to plan for on a longer trip
- Pick a size you can live in. Two adults who are fine in a 19-footer for a weekend often want 23 to 25 feet for a week. Our size guide covers every floor plan.
- Mix hook-ups and dry camping. A few nights at a park with full hook-ups lets you refill water, empty tanks and charge up between stretches of dry camping.
- Book campsites early. The popular parks fill months ahead. These online resources help you find sites along the way.
- Help is still a call away. 24/7 roadside and technical support comes with every rental, wherever the trip takes you.

Rather stay in one place?
If the plan is a week at one campground, skip the towing entirely. We deliver the trailer, level it, hook it up, and collect it at the end. Here is how delivery works.
